We will post updates as we know them here!

5/15/25-Fred’s fighting hard and making progress every day! 🙏 They’re even talking about moving him to a regular room soon. Keep the prayers and good energy coming — they’re working! 💥

Night Update – 5/9/25
They are continuing to monitor for seizures and are gradually reducing his pain medications. He is opening his eyes and responding to commands well. A blood pressure medication has been added to help lower his BP, and they’ve also started him on Lasix.

5/9/25-Surgery went well. His BP was a little high but calmed down with meds. Due to the surgery, they had to place a feeding tube for feedings. He is either seizing or trying to cough with some of the readings they have had, but are waiting on the neurologist to make their rounds. They are wanting to bring him off sedation but the neurologist will will decide next steps before doing so. With bringing him off sedation the nurse said today may not be a good day. Please continue to pray for Fred's healing and the medical team treating him.

Night 5/6/25-The medical team was gonna change bandages & clean up his face.  They thought he had a little seizure activity during the day, but the neurologist looked at the readings and did not think it was. However, he will stay on a monitor for 24 hours to confirm.  Please lift him up that there is no seizure activity and continue healing!

5/6/25-Swelling is going down, which is great!  They did X-ray's this morning and we should have those results later.  They took him off sedation to check brain activity & HE DID GREAT!  He was able to respond when they called his name, gave a thumbs up, wiggled his toes and open his eyes when asked.  They asked him if he knew where he was and he nodded yes.

5/5/25-Fred's mom said he was a little agitated last night and they went up on pain and sedation meds, but is doing good today.  The medical team has been able to get the fever down but they ordered cultures.  They are planning on doing surgery Thursday, but do not know the time yet.

5/4/25-Fred's mother is with him in Pensacola.  She let Crystal know this morning that Fred had a good night last night.  The medical team asked if they could shave his face to help the tape stick better and they agreed.  He was seen by a respiratory therapist today.  He has some stitches and many fractures.  The medical team is working to get his blood to clot better.

Please continue to pray for Fred's recovery 🙏🏼
